Jos. Rummel, was born in Germany, but moved to Paris 1847 - 1870. He then moved to London and remained there for the rest of his life. Rummel, a pianist and clarinettist, left a large output of some 2000 works, mainly arrangements of operatic works and some waltzes, mazurkas and studies for piano. Most of his works were published by Escudier in Paris and by Schott in Mainz. This is one of the few published by Ricordi in Milan.
